Myles Rudnick was hired as New York University’s Assistant Director of Business Operations/Business Manager within the Department of Athletics, Intramurals, and Recreation in June 2024.
This is Rudnick’s third stint with NYU Athletics. He worked in the department while obtaining his Master of Science degree at NYU in (2014-15) and returned from 2016-19 as the Assistant Sports Information Director/Coordinator of New Media.
In his new role at NYU, Rudnick leads NYU's Athletics’ Business Office, which consists of five full-time staff members, while also handing aspects related to travel and budget management.
Prior to returning to NYU, Rudnick headed the media relations and digital strategy efforts for four of New Jersey Institute of Technology’s (NJIT) 17 Division I athletics programs. He handled all social media and media relations work for the Highlanders’ men’s basketball, baseball and tennis teams, as well as women’s volleyball. Rudnick played an integral role in the promotion of the 2021 NJIT baseball team and the program’s nearly 1100% social media growth that came with their run at the 2021 NCAA Fayetteville Regional.
In addition to his work at NYU and NJIT, Rudnick also spent a year at Johns Hopkins University as the primary contact for eight of the Blue Jays’ varsity athletics programs.
Rudnick, who earned his undergraduate degree in Management from The College of New Jersey in 2013, is a New Jersey native and resident.
