Soccer - Manhattan_Gaelic Park

The primary 2008 home to the New York University men's and women's soccer programs, Manhattan College's Gaelic Park is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose outdoor athletic facility in Riverdale, NY. The artificial-turf field venue includes an all-weather playing surface, seating for 2,000 fans, a press box and terrace area. The facility, which was revamped in September 2007, also features state-of-the-art light fixtures enabling evening competition and practice.

The Violets' men's team will host five games at Gaelic Park in 2008: Muhlenberg College (Sept. 6), Stevens Institute of Technology (Sept. 24), the University of Rochester (Oct. 11), Carnegie Mellon University (Oct. 31), and Brandeis University (Nov. 8).

The Violets' women's side will also host five contests on the Gaelic Park turf this season: Wilkes University (Sept. 21), Farmingdale State University (Sept. 27), the University of Rochester (Oct. 11), Carnegie Mellon University (Oct. 31), and Brandeis University (Nov. 8).
