The New York University women's tennis team won its first match of the 2013 spring season, defeating the Stevens Institute of Technology 8-1 on Wednesday, April 3, at the National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY.
The Violets (1-2) entered play having not competed in a match since February 24 against Swarthmore College.
"We played very well and with lots of confidence," said Head Coach
Horace Choy. "We got ahead early and were able to relax and just play."
