Of the group, Maeve Evans produced the best result, running an NYU record 4:29.19 in the 1,500 meters and automatically qualifying for the NCAA Division III Championships later this month. The indoor All-American finished fourth in the race and has now posted the third-fastest time in the event in Division III this season.
"Maeve continues to improve and impress," said NYU head coach Nick McDonough. "She's running great at the right time."
Also on the women's side, Kathryn Shannon finished third in the 400 meters (1:00.17), while Winnie Nwapa took fifth (1:00.71).
For the men, Ryan Boyd placed second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:24.96) and Brian Broderick finished fourth (career-best 9:39.59).

"Dan continues a great freshman year," said McDonough, now in his 12th season with the team. "His open 400 time was the fastest we've had since I've been here."
