The New York University women's golf team will look to keep improving during the spring season as they take aim at Amherst College's Jack Leaman Invitational in Amherst, MA.
The two-day event will take on April 17 at the Hickory Ridge Country Club and April 18 at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, MA. Eleven other teams are scheduled to compete at the event.
Junior Theresa Apoznanski led the Violets last weekend at the Vassar College Invitational by notching her fifth top-10 finish of the season. Apoznanski fired for a two-day total of 170, which placed her in a tie for ninth place.
Several freshmen on the women's team continue to show their moxie as the season progresses. Jiye Kim had her best outing of the spring last weekend with a tally of 178. Also contributing on a weekly basis are Sarah Utz, Charlotte Abrams, and Natasha How.
