After finishing in fifth place at the Skidmore College Joseph C. Palamountain Invitational last weekend, the New York University men's golf team is ready to head back to the links at the Johnson & Wales College University Invitational in Cranston, RI.
The two-day invite will take place at the 6,493-yard, par-71 Cranston Country Club on April 17-18. Fifteen other teams will make up the field.
Violets' senior Mike Leibfried led NYU once again last weekend by shooting a two-round total of 156, which placed him in a tie for 15th place overall.
Sophomore Matt Riccio we look to repeat the solid first round he had at the Palamountain Invite, where he fired for his lowest round of the spring season with a 76. After a slight setback on the second day of the tournament, Riccio finished in 22nd place.
