Evans Receives Second UAA Athlete of the Week Award

Senior Fencer Placed Ninth at NCAA Regionals

Evans has been named UAA Athlete of the Week five times in her career.

Senior fencer Zoe Evans was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week following her performance at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Sunday, March 14, at Brown University.

Evans placed ninth in the women's foil competition and was an at-large candidate for the NCAA Women's Fencing Championship scheduled for March 25-28 at Harvard University in Boston, MA.

Evans has compiled a 37-19 record this season, which is second overall on the team in wins.

It is the second time this season Evans has earned UAA Athlete of the Week honors and it is the fifth time in her career that she has been recognized.
