Beginning on Wednesday, March 17, sophomores Kelly Dietz and Molly Rippe, as well as freshman Tatum Gormley, will represent New York University at the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships at Beloit College in Minneapolis, MN.

In order to compete in the championships, swimmers need only to qualify in one event.  Upon qualifying, they may choose to compete in up to three events.

Rippe will race in the 200, 500 and 1,650 freestyle events. Gormley, the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Rookie of the Year, will compete in the 200 and 400 individual medleys in addition to the 100 butterfly. Dietz will take part in both the one-meter and three-meter dives.

As a team, the Violets finished the dual-meet season with an 8-1 record, falling to only The College of New Jersey 161-137 (1/23). At the UAA Championships (2/17-20),  NYU posted a third-place finish in the eight-team field.

The NCAA Championships are set to begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday. Results will be available on goNYUathletics.com.
