This Friday marks the third annual Tear it Up-Pink Zone event! Come out to the men’s and women’s basketball games for a special pink-studded night sponsored by SAAC to raise money for breast cancer research and awareness.

There will be food and T-shirts, as usual, but given the fundraising aspect of the event we ask for a $5 donation. This donation gets you an exclusive Pink Zone T-shirt, warm Qdoba, and Cold Stone Creamery for dessert.  Non-students can also purchase the T-shirt for $15.

In addition to these festivities, we will be hosting a competition amongst all of the varsity teams to raise money for the cause. All proceeds will go to the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation. Every year Miles of Hope honors the memory of an individual whose life was cut way too short by this awful disease. This year's honoree is former NYU athletic department employee Mary Clay.

So Think Pink and show your support at the games this Friday night! The women tip-off at 6pm and the men’s game begins at 8pm.
