Haverford Invitational Results

With only a small contingent of Violets competing at the Haverford Invitational in Haverford, PA, on Sunday, freshman Jonny Annuziata made the most of the opportunity.

NYU's first-year thrower placed third in the shot put and tied a season-best with his distance of 13.51 meters (44'4").

The Violets were also represented in the 400 meters, as another freshman, Ethan Evans, finished in 10th place with a personal-best time of 55.70, while sophomore Nicholas Chang took 13th place (56.43) in his season debut.

Also competing for NYU were junior Joseph Lota and sophomore Joseph Foley, who posted seventh-place finishes in the triple jump (11.58 meters, 38'0") and long jump (5.35 meters, 17'4-3/4"), respectively.

There was no team scoring at the meet, which was originally scheduled for Saturday but was postponed due to the snow storm in the the region.
