New York University freshman fencer Phil Jamesson is making quite a name for himself. For the fourth time in his debut season, Jamesson has been named University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week.

Jamesson was the Violets' top finisher at the United States Fencing Association Junior Olympic National Championships in Memphis, TN, on Feb. 14-15. He placed 52nd out of 205 competitors to continue an outstanding rookie season for NYU. J

Jamesson currently has an overall season record of 42-19.
