Dietz Notches Seventh UAA Weekly Accolade
Sophomore Diver Named Athlete of the Week

On Tuesday, Feb. 2, New York University sophomore diver Kelly Dietz was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week. Dietz has now garnered the award seven times this season.
The latest honor for the sophomore follows a strong performance in a 177-65 win at Vassar College on Saturday, Jan 30. In the last dual meet of the season, Dietz posted first-place and NCAA-qualifying totals of 256.13 in the one-meter dive and 288.50 in the three-meter dive.
Dietz and the 8-1 Violet swimming & diving team will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 17. NYU will be competing in the UAA Championships at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
