Norris Takes UAA Honor

On Tuesday, Feb. 2, New York University junior Max Norris was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week in men's diving. Norris has garnered the award seven times this season.
The latest award for the Rochester, NY, native follows two second-place finishes in a 140-101 win at Vassar College on Saturday, Jan. 30. Norris posted totals of 263.47 in the one-meter dive and 229.65 in the three-meter dive.
In addition to being a seven-time UAA Athlete of the Week this season, Norris has held the honor 16 times in his illustrious career.
The Violets return to the pool on Feb. 17, when they compete at the UAA Championships. The event will be held at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
