Live stats will be provided by Hunter College when the New York University women's basketball team visits the Hawks today at 5 p.m. at the Hunter Sportsplex.

NYU (4-2) is looking to rebound from Thursday's 65-51 loss at Skidmore College.  Leading the way for the Violets have been seniors Grace Carmen (12.5 ppg, 8.8 rpg) and Jen Hum-Traverso (10.2 ppg, 50.0 3FG%), both of whom are enjoying career-best seasons in the scoring column.

Hunter (3-2) has won two straight games, including a 65-57 triumph over City College of New York last Friday.  Megan McKenna (18.6 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 3.8 apg, 2.4 spg), Andrea Buckham (16.3 ppg, 4.7 rpg),Juanita Whims (15.0 ppg, 14.4 rpg) lead five Hawks averaging better than eight points per game.

NYU leads the all-time series, 39-27-1, including a 67-59 win at the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center in the teams' last meeting Jan. 19, 2009.
