Coming off a tough loss to The College of New Jersey on Thursday, the NYU wrestling team got back on track on Sunday with a dominant performance against Yeshiva University.
James Cariddi (165 pounds), Michael Cunningham (197) and Justin Murberg (Hwt) each earned victories by fall for NYU, who cruised to a 42-9 victory.
Also winning individual matches for NYU were Elliot Smith, Jakub Pawlowski and Sabino Galassi.
"It was a great day to get some of our wrestlers who haven't seen regular action a chance to compete in a dual match," said NYU head coach Bruce Haberli. "It's still early in the season and we want everyone to be prepared to wrestle."
The NYU grapplers return to the mat on Friday, Dec. 4, when they travel uptown to take on local rival, Hunter College.
