Mollie Eisler earned her first University Athletic Association (UAA) weekly award Tuesday when she collected the UAA Athlete of the Week — Defense honor after enjoying the finest game of her young collegiate career.

In Sunday's 6-0 victory over Purchase College, Eisler produced her first collegiate assist in the 30th minute.  For good measure, she found the back of the net for her first collegiate tally in the 40th minute.

Defensively, Eisler helped the Violets (9-5-1, 0-3-1 UAA) limit Purchase to one second-half shot.

NYU returns to action Friday, Oct. 30, with a 1:30 p.m. match against the University of Chicago at Manhattan College's Gaelic Park.  The game is a Tear It Up! event and will include a fan bus leaving from the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center at 12:30 p.m.
