A brilliant performance in last Saturday's 5-0 victory over John Jay College of Criminal Justice helped Brandon Hintz garner his first-ever University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week - Offense award.

Hintz scored a career-high seven points for the Violets (5-7-2, 0-2-2 UAA), assisting on the team's first goal before producing a natural hat trick by scoring his team's next three goals.  He ended the game with career single-season bests in goals scored (4) and points (10).

NYU returns to action Friday, Oct. 30, when it hosts the University of Chicago at 11:00 a.m. at Manhattan College's Gaelic Park.  The game is a Tear It Up! event and will feature a fan bus leaving the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center at 10:00 a.m.
