New York University continues to reap the rewards of its undefeated start, moving up in both the USA Today ESPN Division III Coaches' Top 25 and D3Hoops.com polls Tuesday.

NYU (8-0) moved up a spot and is now tied for 12th with Brandeis University in the USA Today ESPN poll, and ascended two spots to #20 in the D3Hoops.com rankings.

In their lone game action last week, the Violets recorded an 81-49 non-conference victory over Drew University at the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center.  They owned a 59-33 rebounding edge as Jessica McEntee (23 points, 11 rebounds), Christine Kilmurray (career highs of 11 points and 13 rebounds) and Chelsea Seabron (career bests of 9 points and 10 rebounds) starred.

NYU is off until Jan. 3, when it hosts the College of St. Elizabeth in the NYU Classic.
